Delete your account & data

Last updated: June 12, 2026

Kimu, operated by Anmar Aljarad, lets you permanently delete your account and associated data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and exactly what is removed and kept.

Delete from within the app

  1. Open the Kimu app.
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  3. Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are deleted immediately, and you are signed out on all devices.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. There is no reactivation or recovery once your account is deleted.

If you no longer have the app

If you’ve uninstalled Kimu or can’t sign in, email support@kmoonproject.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete your account. We will verify your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the following from our active systems:

What is anonymized, not erased

Like most social platforms, content that is already part of shared conversations and feeds is permanently disassociated from your identity rather than erased. After deletion it is attributed to an anonymized, deactivated account that cannot be linked back to you:

If you want specific content fully removed (not just anonymized), delete those posts or comments in the app before deleting your account, or ask us at support@kmoonproject.com.

What is kept, and for how long

About virtual items and purchases

Any Sarang or Points balance is forfeited on deletion and has no monetary value. Deleting your Kimu account does not itself issue a refund for past in-app purchases; refunds, where available, are handled by Apple or Google under their respective store policies.
